thanaelfontaine.eu · a day to tie it all together

I build products and I connect ecosystems. The problem is that it scatters quickly: two organisations I founded (Horyond Agency and Horyond Non Profit), START Paris, a consulting practice, assessing climate startups at Team for the Planet, and projects of my own like Maily or WildKit. I needed one place that ties it all together.

So I designed the site as a day. The home page runs from 06:00 to midnight: each section has its hour, its place and a public domain painting, and the sky changes as you scroll. Each project has its canvas, its page and its story.

The choice I stand by: a handmade site. HTML and CSS, no framework, readable even without JavaScript, in French and in English.

And a blog that favours depth over volume, on four pillars: product, climate and deeptech, Europe and Asia, community. For example:

• the art of saying no to a feature request;
• the TRL scale explained to founders;
• my checklist for assessing a climate startup;
• and the latest: collective intelligence or a VC committee, what changes for a founder.

I will post the new articles and the new project pages here.
