WildKit · the kit for heading into the wild

The name says it all: wild, nature, kit, what you take with you.

When you build a PC, there are configurators: you pick the parts, the tool checks that everything fits together, and you watch the price move. For sleeping outdoors, I found nothing like it for the general public. Lists for experts, shop guides, generic comparison sites, but nothing that says: here is your pack, for this particular trip.

So I built it.

You give your trip (hike, bivouac or trek), your place and your date. WildKit reads the weather day by day, plans for the worst day, and puts together a complete pack: the sleeping bag for the night's temperature, the mat for the insulation you need, the tent, the gas, the water. Weight, budget and volume move live, and it warns you if something important is missing.

The choice I stand by: we suggest, we impose nothing. And everything runs in the browser: no account, no server.

Who is it for? For someone who has never slept outdoors and is afraid of forgetting the essentials.

Alongside it, I write beginner guides with real figures: wildkit.fr/en/blog

I will post the new features and the new guides here.
